Santa Cruz meeting and conference attendees will experience an easy drive to California's favorite seaside destination. Choose Highway 17 through the Santa Cruz Mountains, or California's scenic Highway 1 south of the San Francisco area. The nearest major airport is Mineta-San Jose International Airport, 30 miles northeast of Santa Cruz. San Francisco International Airport is approximately 60 miles north of Santa Cruz. The nearest train depot is located in San Jose, and bus service is available to Santa Cruz County as well. Rental cars and a comfortable public transportation system provided by the Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District make your adventures in the county a little more accessible.
